Membership and Voting:
Any person subscribing to the ideals and principles of the Democratic Party and residing in New York State may apply for and shall be accepted for membership in the Club by filing a written application with the Membership Committee. Only paid up members who are registered Democrats, as determined by the Treasurer, and residing within the boundaries set forth below may vote.
West – The Islip Town Line; East - The William Floyd Parkway; South – The Atlantic Ocean; North – The 5th Council District Line of the Town of Brookhaven; and any area encompassed by the Patchogue- Medford School District, and the LIE.
Non-voting, Associate Members, may reside anywhere in New York State.
Members voting for officers must have attended four General Meetings of the Club within the past twelve months as paid in full members for the current year.
ALL MEETING NOTICES WILL BE SENT BY E-MAIL ONLY.
Each application for membership shall be accompanied by the amount of the annual dues fixed by the Executive Board of the Club at the Annual Organizational Meeting unless the applicant joins the Club after June 30, at which time half dues shall be paid. ( half dues for new members only )
The 2011 Member or Associate Member dues are: Individual- $20 Household living at same address- $35
